Time spent in the wilderness can offer breathtaking instances of chance encounters with wildlife —an intense gaze, a sudden movement, a quiet pause. My art seeks to preserve these moments with realism, using pastels and colored pencils to bring out the depth of texture, light, and life in each subject.  With every stroke of pastel and pencil, I aim to reveal the intricate beauty of wildlife—each feather, whisker, and glint of light in an eye. My art is a celebration of these fleeting encounters, a way to honor the spirit of the wild and its undeniable presence in our world.
